I found some information about upcoming - siege battles. System will be very interesting.
As a defender of your keep, you gonna revive special points for successful defense - for that point you will rise special ability ( i don't know exactly ).
Don't worry if someone attack your stronghold, in Age of Conan, only in special time, hour - attack on stronghold will be possible. So if your fellow members of any guild, will be sleeping ( yeah i know sleeping is for weak but sometimes you MUST sleep ) - don't worry, be happy and sleep well.
Stronghold anyway is very interesting place for your character, because you can build lots of building and that buildings will boost up your attributes or special ability. For the example, stables will rise for 10% your traveling speed. Also your main quarter will be used for strategic points in fight for resources.
As a attacker, for destroyed and conquered keep you will receive special points, if you will be enough tough - you will be able to construct very powerful ballistic machines.
